PISGAH NATIONAL FOREST

Pisgah National Forest covers a vast area in western North Carolina (over 500,000 acres), extending from Blowing Rock and Lenoir in the east to its border with Nantahala National Forest to the west.  It is divided into 4 ranger districts, with the Pisgah District being the closest one to Sherwood Forest.
